Program

A Vision for You

You too can experience release from care, boredom and worry; and once more experience joyous intimacy with friends and enjoy a feeling that life is good.

This weekend, we hope that you will join us in the Fellowship of the Spirit and meet some of us as we trudge the road of happy destiny together.

“Program under development – our program committee are working on an innovative format for a fun filled weekend – check back for details coming in early 2020”

Outback Sensation

Entertainment on the Saturday evening will be a break away from the usual Dinner Dance. We will be holding a bush dance at the heritage-listed Woolshed at Jondaryan. It is the oldest and largest operating woolshed of its kind in the world with over 150 years of history.

Your ticket price INCLUDES a delicious roast buffet, unlimited soft drinks, demonstrations including sheep shearing, working dogs, horsemanship, whip cracking and damper making as well as an authentic Australian bush band as well as bus transfers to and from Toowoomba.

Jondaryan is situated to 45kms west of Toowoomba. Buses will transport guests from Downlands and return to Toowoomba after the event is over. At the request Woolshed staff and convention organisers, ticketholders are REQUIRED to travel to the venue via bus, which is INCLUDED in your ticket price.

Dress is informal – wear your favourite jeans and boots and let your hair down. A fabulous, local bush band, ‘Band-O-Coots’, will entertain us and guide us through bush dancing steps.

CATERING & DINING OPTIONS

Tea and instant coffee are COMPLIMENTARY all weekend at the Convention venue. Coffee vans will be on-site for those after a barista style coffee. Lunch, soft drinks and snacks will be available for purchase at the venue. Lunch items available include wraps, sandwiches, salads, pies, sausages rolls etc. and there are many lovely spots around the College to enjoy a picnic lunch or take a seat in the dining room.

NORTHPOINT SHOPPING CENTRE is within walking distance of the College and includes a Coles Supermarket, Subway, Zarraffa’s Coffee, Big Rooster and other dining options.

Toowoomba has a wide variety of cuisine options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
